  • Not harmful to humans
  • Dark brown
  • 1 in. long
  • Have forcep-like pinchers at the end of the abdomen
  • Feed on leaves, flowers, fruits, mold, and insects
  • Found under piles of lawn debris, mulch, or in tree holes
  • Produces strong odor when disturbed or crushed
