OVERVIEW

• Also called waterbug or black beetle
• 1-1 ¼ in. long
• Very dark brown to almost black and shiny
• Have wings, but do not fly
• Enjoys cooler temperatures than other cockroach species
• Found outdoors under debris, stones, and leaves
• Found indoors in dark, damp areas
• Feed on garbage and decaying organic matter
